1. Who you are agreeing with
This platform is operated by Academic Destination Nepal Pvt. Ltd., registered in Nepal with its office in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. In these terms “we”, “us” and “the platform” mean that company and this website; “you” means the person using it.
Using the platform means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it. Where you buy a course, receive consultancy, or use the AI tools, the sections below that cover those services apply to you in addition to the general ones.
2. Who may use the platform
You may use the platform if you can enter a binding agreement under Nepali law. If you are under 18, you may use it with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, and we will treat that adult as responsible for payments made on your behalf. Consultancy services involving visa or admission applications are provided on the basis that an adult is party to the engagement.
One person, one account. Accounts are not transferable and may not be shared, sold or lent.
3. Your account and devices
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.
Student accounts may be signed in on two devices at a time. When you sign in on a third, the oldest session is ended automatically. This limit exists to stop one purchased course being shared among many people; it is not a limit on how often you may study, and you can move between your own devices freely.
Accounts that appear to be shared, resold, or used to redistribute course material may be suspended. Where we suspend an account for this reason we will tell you why.
4. Courses and access
Buying a course gives you a personal, non-transferable right to watch its lessons and use its materials for your own study.
How long access lasts
Each course states its access period on its page before you buy. Some courses grant access without an end date; others grant access for a set number of days from purchase, after which the course closes unless you renew. Check the course page — we do not promise lifetime access as a general rule, and where an access period applies it begins on the day of purchase.
What a course includes
Lessons, and whatever notes, files, quizzes and certificate the course lists. A tutor may add or improve material over time. A tutor may also correct or remove material that is wrong or outdated; where a course changes substantially while you have access, we will keep you enrolled in the updated version.
Recording and sharing
Lessons are streamed for your personal study. Downloading them by means other than any offline feature we provide, recording them, or sharing them in any form is not permitted. Video lessons carry a visible watermark showing the viewing account's network address, so a recording that circulates can be traced back to the account it came from. Accounts found redistributing course video may be closed without refund.
5. Payment and pricing
Prices are shown in Nepali Rupees and include any taxes we are required to charge. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Payments are taken through eSewa and FonePay. Those providers handle your payment details; we do not receive or store your card, wallet or bank credentials. Their own terms apply to the payment itself.
Your access is granted once we have confirmation from the payment provider. If a payment succeeds but your access does not appear, contact us with the transaction reference and we will correct it.
Where a course is unlocked with a redeem code, the code is single-use and tied to the course it was issued for.
6. Refunds
Digital course content is delivered immediately, so refunds are not automatic. We do review refund requests, and we will refund you where the platform did not deliver what you paid for — for example a course that is materially different from its description, lessons that do not play and that we cannot fix, or a duplicate charge.
To request one, contact us with your account email and the transaction reference. A request is reviewed by a person, and you will be told the outcome and the reason for it. Approved refunds are returned through the payment method you used.
We would not normally refund a course you have substantially completed, or one bought by mistake and then studied. Consultancy fees cover work already carried out on your application and are treated separately — see section 8.
7. If you publish a course
You keep ownership of the material you upload. You give us permission to host it, stream it to students who have enrolled, and show extracts of it to promote the course. That permission lasts while your course is published and for as long as students who bought it still have access.
You are responsible for having the right to publish everything you upload, including any images, slides, music or third-party material in your lessons, and for the accuracy of what you teach.
Your share of revenue and the payout schedule are set out in your tutor agreement. Earnings are shown in your tutor dashboard, and you request a payout from there; each request is checked against your available balance before it is approved.
We may unpublish a course that breaks these terms, infringes someone's rights, or that students consistently report as not matching its description. Where we do, we will tell you why, and students already enrolled keep the access they paid for.
8. Consultancy services
Our counsellors help you choose institutions and courses, prepare your application and documents, and get ready for interviews and visa steps. What we agree to do for you, and what it costs, is set out with you before the work starts.
We cannot promise an admission, a scholarship or a visa. Those decisions belong entirely to universities, colleges and immigration authorities, who apply their own criteria and can change them. Anyone promising a guaranteed visa is not describing how the process works. What we are responsible for is doing our part carefully, on time, and telling you honestly where your application is weak.
You are responsible for the truth of everything you give us. Documents, transcripts, test scores, financial evidence and personal history must be genuine and complete. We will not submit information we know or suspect to be false, and we will end an engagement where we find that we have been given falsified documents. Misrepresentation can carry consequences for you well beyond a refused application, including long bans on future applications.
Guidance we give about visa rules, costs and requirements reflects our understanding at the time. Immigration rules change often and without notice. Where a point matters to your decision, check it against the official source for the country concerned, and ask us if anything we have said appears to conflict with it.
9. The AI tools
The platform includes tools that help you draft a statement of purpose or a CV, explore options with an AI counsellor, and rehearse an interview. They exist to get you started and to give you practice, and they are genuinely useful for both.
What they produce is a draft, not advice and not a finished document. An AI model can be confidently wrong, can invent detail that sounds plausible, and does not know your circumstances beyond what it has been given. Read everything it produces before you use it, correct anything that is not true of you, and ask a counsellor if you are unsure.
A statement of purpose must be your own. Universities treat a submitted statement as your work and many now check for generated text. Submitting an AI draft unchanged risks your application being rejected for misrepresentation, and that is a consequence you carry, not us. Use the draft as a starting point and write it in your own words, about your own reasons.
Interview practice and scoring are for rehearsal. They are not a prediction of how a real interview will go and no score from them means anything to a visa officer or an admissions panel.
Some guidance in our counselling knowledge base has not yet been verified by a member of staff. Where that is the case it is shown to you with a badge saying so, rather than hidden or presented as confirmed. Treat badged entries as a starting point for a conversation, not as settled fact.
10. Certificates
A certificate from us records that you completed a particular course on this platform, and nothing more. It is not a degree, a diploma, or a qualification recognised by any university, government body or professional register, and we do not present it as one.
Each certificate carries a reference that anyone can check on our verification page, so an employer can confirm it is genuine. Altering a certificate, or issuing one that did not come from us, is a misuse of our name.
11. Acceptable use
The forum, questions, answers and reviews exist so students can help each other. When you post, please keep it useful and civil. Specifically, do not:
- post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or designed to intimidate somebody;
- post someone else's personal details, documents or contact information;
- share, sell or request copies of course material, including recordings and account logins;
- post advertising, referral spam, or offers of guaranteed visas and admissions;
- write reviews for courses you have not taken, or on behalf of somebody else;
- attempt to break, probe or overload the platform, or access data that is not yours.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend accounts that do so repeatedly or seriously. If we remove something you posted, you can ask us why.
12. Intellectual property
The platform itself — its software, design, text and branding — belongs to us. Course material belongs to the tutor who made it. What you write and upload belongs to you; by posting it publicly on the platform you give us permission to display it here.
If you believe material on the platform infringes your rights, write to us with enough detail to identify it and we will investigate and act where the complaint is well-founded.
13. Your data
How we collect, use and protect your information — including the documents you upload for an application — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In short: we use your information to provide the services you asked for, we share it with a university or an authority only where doing so is part of an application you have asked us to make, and we do not sell it.
14. Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a failure at a provider we rely on for hosting, video delivery or payments.
We may add, change or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for, we will tell you and put it right — by restoring it, by providing an equivalent, or by refunding the affected part of what you paid.
We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will note it here and update the date at the top of this page, and where we hold your email address we will tell you. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Limits of our responsibility
We are responsible for providing the services you have paid for with reasonable care and skill. Where we fail to do that, we will put it right.
We are not responsible for decisions made by universities, colleges, embassies or immigration authorities; for a loss caused by information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete; or for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability to you in connection with a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Kathmandu have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before it gets that far, please talk to us. Most problems are a misunderstanding or a mistake we can fix, and we would rather hear about it than have you go away unhappy.
